Abstract Donated by Professor Kathleen Verduin from the estate of her late husband, Leslie J. Workman (1927-2001). Alice P. Kenney (1938-1985) grew up in Albany, New York, receiving her B.A. from Middlebury College and earning both her M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University.
