The collection contains materials that are filed together by date of annual meeting (necrology reports, minutes and financial reports). Other folders contain correspondence and financial records of the Alumni Association documenting donations and annual meeting planning, Alumni News (newsletter, 1984-1987), and annual meeting programs.

The Alumni Fifty Year Circle was established in 1952 as a social society to “collect and preserve the histories of all members.” In later years, it has served only as a social group (reunion capacity). The collection contains a minute book and guest register for the Fifty Year Circle of Hope College.
