The Martin E. Cupery papers include correspondence regarding the New Science Building Campaign and with various alumni, memorials for Clarence Kleis, Gerrit Van Zyl, and J. Harvey Kleinheksel (all Hope College professors), patents for various polymer compositions, photographs, and speeches. The collection is arranged alphabetically by topical heading.

Biography
Martin E. Cupery graduated from Hope College in 1924 and went to work for E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company. He was awarded two patents in 1959 for copolymer compositions. Cupery was very involved with the Hope College Alumni Association (serving as chair of the Science Chapter) and the New Science Building Campaign (during the 1960s).
