The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Hope College Chapter met in regards to matters involving the faculty at Hope College. Interests ranged from salary considerations to involvement with the Hope College administration and Board of Trustees. The organization was formed in 1969 and folded in 1974, when the board and committee structure of college governance was instituted.
