The collection consists primarily of articles written by Reynierse, but also includes some clippings, news releases, and a substantial amount of correspondence with Dr. Vander Werf, Dr. Beach, Dr. Rider, and Dr. Van Wylen. Biography

James H. Reynierse received his A.B. degree from Calvin College in 1959, his M.A. from Michigan State University in 1961, and his Ph.D. from the same institution in 1964. He did post-doctoral research at Indiana University and was appointed to the graduate faculty of the University of Nebraska in 1967.

In 1969, he joined the faculty of Hope College as a professor of psychology and served in that position until 1974.
