Abstract
Michael Douma was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, in 1982. He graduated from Grandville (Michigan) High School in 2000 and Hope College in 2004. He served as a student research assistant at the Joint Archives of Holland from 2000-2004, and a research assistant for Dr. Robert Swierenga at the A. C.
